Winnie's 1st Christmas...

The night before Christmas all Winnie wanted to do was play...

And she fought Tom to go to bed...

Her 1st Christmas was pretty good for her, she loved being held by Nain and playing in her swing.

Decked out for church...

Yesterday Winnie got all decked out for church...she wore the cutest little Christmas dress (& red shoes) that Margie & David sent down for her (THANK YOU!!). Our church isn't having a Christmas Eve service this year, since the staff really needed the time off to be with their families (its been a hard year for them, lots of spiritual attacks). Unfortunately we arrived to church a little late and didn't have a chance to sing Christmas carols...I was sad as I really enjoy them. Guess we will have to play them all day tomorrow...oh Tom will be so happy (haha).

The little white hat and sweater was mine when I was little, too cute. Oh, and her hair is staying down better now, I'm sure the mohawk will be back though...

This morning she was so alert...looking all over and moving around on her changing table. She is starting to smile a lot and gets excited around people. She is sleeping in her swing now and keeps opening her eyes a little to make sure she isn't missing anything. Already she can't miss a party!

All bundled up...

Today Winnie and I had a chance to meet little Presley and Sam...and they are absolutely adorable. Jenna (Presley's mom) was due 2 days after me and had her 2 days after us...and they were the same weight and height...crazy! Sam (Courtney's little one) came a few weeks early and you can tell he is the oldest as the little outfit fit him the best. We had a blast oohhing and ahhing over our little ones... Thanks Caroline for the cute outfits!! Amy- We missed little Samuel!!

First (real) Bath... (last Friday)

"What in the world is this!!" Her little hands do this when she is stunned by something, and so adorable!
"I can't decide if I like it or not" Gotta love that pouty face...
"WOW, that wasn't so bad...I think I actually like it! Now time for a nap!"
"Mommy loves to cuddle with me...and I enjoy peeing on her..hehe." Yes, she peed on me after the bath, while wrapped in the towel.

One Month old already...

Where is the time going... Winnie is a month old already!! She had a fun day today to celebrate... a bath, fun walk with mommy, trip to the mall with her friends (8th grade girls from church) and she got to meet Santa. She is starting to open her eyes more, and they are precious.

Family visit...

This past weekend Jennifer & the boys (Landon & Ben) came to visit... Landon was so cute saying "Winnie" and "Bronwyn"....and correcting Ben that her name was Bronwyn, not Winnie. They touched her toes and just stared in awe at her. You could tell that they both love her a lot already!! She thought they were pretty special too ;-)

80 degrees ?!?

Nothing like 80 degrees in the middle of Dec!!! Winnie was excited to wear a short-sleeved shirt out today, and is looking forward to a walk this afternoon.

First playdate...

This past Friday Winnie had her first playdate with Ben, Eden, Christopher, Samuel, Will, Kayla & Preston. All the kids had a blast playing with all the toys and the moms of course enjoyed chatting. This is the life...hehe...

Winnie wore her first dress to the occasion and looked all ready for Christmas!

Naughty or Nice...

Yesterday was Winnie's first full kranky day... maybe it was the lack of sleep or the Santa hat that we made her wear for pictures. She was a good sleeper through the night though, Praise the Lord!! Today she was super sleepy and helped mommy get some shopping done. Tom & I were even able to enjoy a nice dinner out with her. Jennifer & the boys are coming to visit tomorrow, we are super excited to see them!

Searching for that perfect tree...

Ha ha ha... now that title is a fib this year. Surprisingly we found our "perfect" tree in a matter of minutes, which is so not like me. Winnie was all dressed for the occasion in one of her favorite outfits (or maybe its mommy's favorite outfit, hehe). We decorated the tree and put out the santas once we got home...its starting feel like Christmas. Now if only we would get some snow...

Good report...

Today was a good day... Winnie had her 2 week doctor's appt and she got weighed in....and *drum roll please* she is 1oz. short of her birth weight...wooohooo!! I gave a high-five to Tom as I was so worried she had not gained enough weight. The doctor said she looked very healthy and didn't need to come back for 6 weeks, she gets shots that visit ;-(

Grandma Jones has been visiting for the last few days, Winnie has enjoyed her lovin'. We were glad the timing worked out for her to come see her Grand-daughter, and hopefully she will be back in Jan.

Visiting with the Grandma's

Winnie has loved to be kissed and spoiled by her Grandma's.... Nain Frederick & Grandma Jones. What a fun few days having them both here to love on her.

Uncle Eben got his cuddles in too...

Margie- She is wearing the newborn outfit that you got her... well the pants are a little big yet so she will wear those in a week or so.

We have SO much to be thankful for...

This year brings a whole new meaning of Thankgiving to us... We are truly blessed to have such a sweet little girl, wonderful family & surrounded by amazing friends.
Our little sweetpea was a lot of fun yesterday, as her eyes were open for most of the day (imagine that!). She loved all the yummy food that Nain (Welsh for Grandma) made and was so happy that mommy ate a lot (haha).

Today she had a follow-up doctor's appt and weighed in at 7lbs 8ozs...woohooo she gained 6ozs since Tuesday!! Thank you for your prayers ;-)

Sleepy head...

Yesterday was a sleepy day for Winnie, but she is awake today! Must've been growing on her 1 week birthday yesterday. The first week seemed to go fast, hoping the next 18 years don't!!

Tony & Eben came to town last night to celebrate Thanksgiving, so fun to have the whole family here. Tom's mom is coming Saturday, so both Grandma's will be able to love on her lots.

Please pray that she would gain more weight...her next doctor's appt is tomorrow, Friday. Sleeping all yesterday didn't help much but "Team Jones" power-fed her last night.

The Princess has ARRIVED...

Bronwyn "Winnie" Ruth Jones arrived on Wed, 11/14 at 9:27pm. She was 7lbs 15oz and 21 1/2 in long, with a full head of hair! We are absolutely amazed at her beauty and are so excited to call her our daughter. We were so blessed to be surrounded by amazing people (Elizabeth, nurse Helen, Dr Beaty, Dr Zimmerman & nurse Kristen) during those long hours of labor...

Last Prego Pic

This is the last picture of my pregnant with Winnie....didn't realize I looked so big, haha.

Counting down...

Tom has been snapping funny pics of me this week...trying to capture the moment. We have 4 weeks to go (give or take). Last Friday the doctor said I was dialated 1cm and 50% efaced, of course I came home and packed my bags (just in case!). We are definitely going to snap some better pics this weekend!!

Church shower...

My sweet Jr High girls and leaders from church showered me and little Winnie this past Saturday. They gave her the cutest blankets, outfits (even little pink boots), and snuggly animals. I feel so loved that the girls in my small group want to love on our little girl and are so excited for her arrival. So thankful that the Lord has blessed me with these girls/ladies... they make me smile.
