Reality check...

Wow has a week really gone by since I last blogged?? Goodness sorry...

This week Winnie had a blast playing with her daddy, she had lots of practice moving her head and enjoyed snuggling on daddy's legs. She is still in love with her swing (praise the Lord!!) and loves to sleep. She has her first case of the *sniffles* this week, kind of funny to hear her snort. Tom goes back to work on Monday after having 2 precious weeks with his princess, it will be hard to start getting back to the reality that we soon face. I am off this next week and can't wait for lunch dates, play dates and double dates with friends!

Please pray that we would figure out what the Lord has in store for our sweet girl after we go back to work. She is registered at a daycare and is set to start that in April, but the thought of her going there is still unsettled in our hearts. I keep thinking that the Lord has something bigger planned for her...and keep praying that He would reveal that to us. I never thought I (miss work-a-holic) would be so attached to her and so very protective... what an amazing blessing she is to us!!

I know this is so hard for you! If any of you readers out there feel the Lord tugging at your heart strings, it may be He is leading you to be Winnie's nanny! Don't fight it--she's an angel:).

Merrit, you will see that God will guide you to do whatever is best for your little girl as well as for Tom and you. I have been on both sides and as much as I loved working, I was always worried about my son being on daycare. When I became SAHM, it was very hard at the beginning and missed working so much. Now, I would not change it for the world, being with Sebastian is the best gift and job ever.

Hi Merritt. I pray God will show you what to do. I know He'll provide exactly what you need and what's best for Winnie.
Please let us know if we can get together sometime. Amelia would love a play date.
Love,
Paula
ps: thank you for checking out my blog. Sorry it's all in Spanish :) but that's how I keep in touch with friends back home
